I Live For The Comments

Lady Gaga broke the 4th wall of music with her new song ‘Applause‘. Now I am not a big Lady Gaga fan but I have to admit I admire her honesty here. So here is my blogger version of her song. I call it ‘Comments

I sit here waiting for you to press the like
To drop a comment, “Is it good or is it bad?”
If only I had more hits I could brag
To my blogging Facebook friends, I love my stats, My SEO hits

I live for the comments, comments, comments
I live for the comments-ments
Live for the comments-ments
Live for the way that you say I am right or say I am wrong
The comments, comments, comments

Give me that thing that I crave (I’ll write more posts like that)
Put your Facebooks thumbs up, make sure to share, share (make sure to tweet)
Give me that thing that I crave (I’ll write more posts like that)
Put your Facebook Thumbs up, make sure to share, share (make sure to tweet)

(C-O-M-M-E-N-T-S) Make sure to tweet

  1. Comments are so important to a blogger. I don’t think people who aren’t bloggers really realize that. Stats will tell you that people clicked over, but comments let you know that your words were READ! I admit it, I live for my comments too. And those shares? Hopefully increase engagement and comments.

I think I would love this post so much more if I actually was up to date on the Lady Gaga song.

    • I hear you I am always glad to get a comment, and you should google the song. It is all about the applause she wants/seeks. I can’t tell if she is being very honest or trying to make a statement. She is kind of funny like that.

But What Do You Think?
